Candles:
I use a Soy/Coconut wax blend for all my candles. Please keep in mind that it is normal at times for soy wax to crystallize on the top and sides. It is cosmetic and will not impact how well your candle performs. Wet spots (jar adhesions) where the wax may pull away from the sides can be caused by changes in temperature. This too, will not impact the performance of your candle.
Please follow the burning instructions included to get the best enjoyment and performance from your candle. All my candles are handmade from start to finish. I work hard to make sure that every candle looks, smells and burns perfectly.
Yes, all my candle sets are limited editions. That means, I will never make that exact fragrance, vessel, color, wick combination, size or edition again. Each edition is limited to no more than 250 sets. New editions will be released 10 to 11 months per year. Each set is hand-poured and numbered. Why did I choose to do limited editions? That’s easy. Because many friendships are limited editions. Limited edition friendships, limited edition candles.
Engraving:
I use bamboo for my engraved candle lids. Please understand, bamboo, like any other wood will have differences in grains from lid to lid so some engraved areas may appear slightly lighter or darker from time to time. That is to be expected. I do everything in my power to avoid that, but wood is wood.
There is a box to check after you have entered your names and friendship established date as you are placing your order. Please make sure that you do double-check this. I cannot be responsible for any typos or misspellings.
Ordering:
Most of my orders ship to different addresses and our software was written to accommodate that. If you are placing multiple orders at one time, they must be entered separately.
Production and Shipping Time:
Every candle I sell is customized. It is not just removed from a shelf, boxed and shipped. Your custom files must be created, and the engraving completed. Please allow approximately 5 -7 business days for production.
In most cases I ship Monday-Wednesday, so your candles don’t end up sitting in a warehouse over the weekend. If I can ship sooner and still avoid that happening, I do so. I want you and your friend to have your candles just as much as you do!

Refund Policy:
Due to the customization of all my candles, all sales are final. Of course, if something is broken during shipping, I will gladly replace your candle. If the edition your chose is sold old, it will be replaced with a different edition of your choice that is currently being offered. Like most candlemakers out there, I go to great lengths to ensure that my candle sets are packaged extremely well with over the top packing materials to keep them safe during transport. All claims for damage during shipping must be reported within 24 hours of receipt. Please reach out to Gladys and Josephine using our contact form should this happen.
